Query
Can we install bib cocks with aerators instead of installing faucets to meet GRIHA requirements?. Also, in this case will the flow rate of aerators or the bib cock be considered?
Solution
Any technology or system which reduces the flow rate is accepted in GRIHA. However a technical 3rd party testing report should be submitted for the claimed flow rate at the required pressure. The flow rate of the fixture together with the aerator will have to be considered.
