(#8614) Does domestic hot water consumption have to be considered in EPI calculation?

Query

The project has a built-up area of 16,000 + sq.m and 7 guest rooms are proposed to have geysers. Will the hot water consumption from these geysers be considered in the simulations for energy and EPI calculation?

Solution

GRIHA v3, and GRIHA v 2015 EPI does not account for energy consumption via domestic hot water demand.

GRIHA EPI only includes the annual energy consumption of HVAC and internal lighting load.
