We have an upcoming project which consists of Residential, commercial, and IT Park. Would it feasible to go for a single rating for the project or a split rating for part 01 (commercial and IT park) and part 02 (residential) to achieve points in renewable energy criterion under GRIHA rating.
Solution
Criterion 9 (GRIHA Version 2015) has mandatory requirements for daytime commercial/institutional buildings and 24X7 occupied buildings. However, there is no mandatory requirement for residential buildings so if the project fulfills the mandatory requirements for the commercial/IT, then it can be registered as single entity.
