ECBC states that " Luminaires in day lighted areas greater than 25 square metre shall be equipped with manual or controlled automatic device that; Is capable of reducing the light output of luminaires in the day lighted areas by at least 50% ; Controls only the luminaires located within the day lighted areas.’ Please clarify what precisely do you certify as day lighted areas more than 25 square metre?

Solution

All the areas greater than 25 sq. m that meet the National Building Code (NBC) recommended daylight factor would be called day lighted.
