(#610)Site imperviousness factor for project located in hilly region

Query

For the projects located in the sloped surface (hilly area), achieving the post-construction storm water discharge to be 0 is extremely difficult. Please confirm if this could be treated as non-applicable.

Response

As the project is located in a hilly site, it becomes even more critical to restrict the runoff to nil. Additionally, this facilitates rainwater to be used as a resource as water accessibility is a challenge in the hilly areas; and most of such areas are water stressed. Further, restricting runoff helps in minimizing the possibility of landslides etc. in these regions.  Therefore, this criterion will be applicable.
