(#8630) RGB LED lights for exterior lighting not meeting luminous efficacy requirements.

Query

A project is in its design phase and wishes to install RGB LED lights for  exterior lighting. It is evident from market surveys that RGB LED lights do not meet the luminous efficacy requirement. Please suggest a possible way to show compliance for this criterion.

Solution

As per the GRIHA requirements 100% of outdoor lighting fixtures (lamps + lamp housing) should meet the luminous efficacy requirements as specified. In case the project is unable to meet the efficiency requirements, points shall not be awarded.
