Will a 3rd party certificate be required if the project uses products from the GRIHA product catalogue?

Query

Will a 3rd party certificate be required if the project uses products from the GRIHA product catalogue?

Solution

If the project is using products from the product catalogue, then it does not require a 3rd party test certificate.
Though the project would be required to demonstrate that "low energy materials" have been used for more than 70% area of the respective category.

If the product is not part of the GRIHA product catalogue then, cut sheets must be provided clearly indicating the respective technical values. For example, percentage of recycled content. Please note that self-declarations by the manufacturer or the project team stating that product is low energy or has recycled content will not be accepted.
