If a building is not oriented to any true direction, then how the orientation should be considered for Criterion 13?

Query

If a building is not oriented to any true direction, then how the orientation should be considered for Criterion 13?

Solution

All angles, between the said direction of orientation and less than 45 degree variation, will be considered in the said direction. For example if a facade is facing 30 degree towards North East then it shall be considered in North direction

Any facade on absolute 45 degree will be considered in the worse of the two directions
