In accordance with SVAGRIHA Criterion 7 commitment, it is mentioned :
"Ensure that 50% of the daily hot water requirement is met through solar water heaters"
Will usage of solar heat pump instead of solar water heater achieve this criterion, as the objective of the criterion can still be met?
Response
Solar heat pumps can be considered for meeting the requirement of Appraisal 7.3.2 and 7.3.3.
However, the project team needs to submit calculations and technical specifications/data of the solar heat pump.
