Is it mandatory to meet the Indian Adaptive thermal comfort temperature range for ALL naturally ventilated spaces? Please suggest alternative if the naturally ventilated spaces are not meeting the temperature range in simulations. What compliance document is required if ceiling fan is considered for satisfying thermal comfort?

It is mandatory to meet the thermal comfort requirement for all regularly occupied spaces irrespective of building typology and classification (AC; Non-AC; Mixed mode). The Project team can demonstrate the compliance through NBC, ASHRAE or Indian Adaptive thermal comfort method.
Strategies to make a space thermally comfortable may vary depending on the typology of space and compliance methodology selected.
