With regards to the preservation of fertile top soil, project team is planning to transfer their fertile top soil to the nearby project of the same client for further re-used it for the landscaping purpose as the other project is in need of fertile top soil. Project team will submit relevant documents to demonstrate the same. Will the project team be eligible for 2 points as per the Criteria-3 requirements ?
Response
Project team needs to ensure that the requirement of fertile topsoil for the ongoing project is met from the excavation of top soil from the project itself; however post meeting the top soil requirement of the site landscape, excess/remaining topsoil can be donated to another project.
The awarding of points for the criterion is at the discretion of the external evaluator and is based on the documentation submitted to demonstrate compliance.
