Is it mandatory to submit the following test reports during pre-certification if the project is not going for Environmental Clearance?
1. Air Test Report
2. Noise Test Report
3. Soil test Report
4. Water test Report
Solution
1. Air Test Report is not required if the project is not going for EC.
2. Noise Test Report is required to assess the current noise levels at the site which will be helpful while incorporating measure to tackle noise in criterion 29 (GRIHA Version 3).
3. Soil test Report is required to assess the soil fertility for Criterion 3 (GRIHA Version 3).
4. Water test Report is required to assess the whether the potable water is safe for use or not, during construction for criterion 8 (GRIHA Version 3).
